There is a time and a place for fighting in hockey, but as San Jose Sharks prospect Dylan Sadowy learned, the proper time is not during a game-deciding shootout, according to the Erie Times-News.

Sadowy, who currently plays for the Saginaw Spirit, was ejected from the Friday night Ontario League Hockey game after punching Mike McLeod of the Mississauga Steelhead in the face just as McLeod celebrated a shootout goal.

McLeod skated past the Spirit’s bench when Sadowy leaned over and delivered the blow to McLeod’s head.

Sadowy, who was selected 81st overall by the San Jose Sharks, has been suspended for four games.
