The man who murdered Christina Grimmie was obsessed with her long before he killed her.

Kevin Loibl worked for the Geek Squad at Best Buy, and during an interview this week, his coworkers said he tried to transform himself in hopes of wining her over. He got hair transplants, underwent Lasik eye surgery and even became a vegan to lose weight, TMZ reported Thursday.

He listened to her music constantly and even vowed he would marry her one day, they said. Loibl also went to one of Grimmie’s concerts in March, where he said he met her.
Her rep disputes that claim.
