Rob Lowe Tells NFL Those Who ‘Boycott’ National Anthem Should ‘Remain In Locker Room’

Rob Lowe told the NFL that if players are going to “boycott” the national anthem, they should just stay in the locker room until kickoff.

The 52-year-old actor called out football players who protest the flag by not standing during the national anthem on September 11th before the games. (RELATED: Ted Cruz Slams NFL Players For National Anthem Protest)

“Dear @NFL Any player wants to boycott the anthem on 9/11 should be asked to remain in the locker room until kick off,” he tweeted. “It’s not their moment.” (RELATED: Supermodel Kate Upton DESTROYS NFL Players Disrespecting America [PHOTO])

 

“Totally agree with you, he added. “But there is a time and place. It’s 9/11.”

“Give it a rest for a day and respect the fallen,” he continued.

Lowe joins a growing list of performers who are against the protest started by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
