Bill Murray tended bar at his son Homer’s new restaurant, 21 Greenpoint in Brooklyn, New York Friday night, according to People magazine.

The comedy star poured drinks and shots for several hours, even taking a few with some restaurant guests, People reports. His guest bartending gig started at a private party before some fans were let in from outside.

Four FDNY firefighters joined the party and snapped a few pictures with Murray. But the most meaningful moment of the night came during a toast Murray gave to his son.

“This is my first born-son, Homer. I am so happy that he has not continued in the family business,” Murray said, according to People. “Instead, he has taking the joy of the family to have a drink, and have a meal, and have friends together in one place, and made it his life’s work. To my son, and his friends, and his work friends and all of his partners,” Murray toasted.
