Ezekiel Elliot is one week away from having his appeal heard in court for his six-game suspension and was just spotted partying on a boat with some friends at a Lake in North Texas. The Dallas Cowboys had a day off, so Elliot chose to not let the awaiting suspension appeal get him down.

On August 11, the NFL announced Elliot would be suspended for six games after they concluded there was sufficient evidence he harmed his now ex-girlfriend Tiffany Thompson. Charges were never filed against Elliot, but the Columbus City Attorney’s Office said the evidence didn’t exactly add up according to ESPN.

If the suspension stands the Cowboys will have to rely on Darren McFadden, Alfred Morris, and Ronnie Hillman as running back. Although from the looks of it, Elliot doesn’t seem too worried about whether or not the suspension gets overturned.

TMZ Sports tweeted this photo of Elliot having a blast on his day off.
