Frank Vincent Dies At 78 After Complications From Heart Surgery

Frank Vincent, the actor who played in “The Sopranos”, “Goodfellas”, “Casino,” and “Raging Bull” died today from complications after undergoing heart surgery according to TMZ.

Vincent suffered a heart attack last week and went into the hospital to undergo heart surgery. Vincent is known for being the tough guy in the handful of mafia roles he played in throughout his career.

Vincent played “Billy Batts” in “Goodfellas” and below is a clip from YouTube from one of his most memorable scenes.

The actor always played the bad guy, but he always played the part so well, leading him to win the Screen Actors Guild Award for his role in “The Sopranos”.

Vincent had one child, Anthony Vincent who has been following in his father’s foot steps. The younger Vincent has starred in films such as “John Wick”, “I Am Legend,” and “The Departed”.
