James Franco likely surprised some viewers when he won the award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy at the Golden Globes on Sunday night, but some were more surprised at the pin he was wearing on his lapel.

The “Disaster Artist” star was one of many Hollywood stars wearing a “Time’s Up” pin at the awards show, prompting two actresses to come forward with sexual harassment claims against the big winner, calling him a hypocrite for taking part in the demonstration, Fox News reports. “Hey James Franco, nice #timesup pin at the #GoldenGlobes,” Sarah Tither-Kaplan wrote. “Remember a few weeks ago when you told me the full nudity you had me do in two of your movies for $100/day wasn’t exploitative because I signed a contract to do it? Time’s up on that!”

“Cute #TIMESUP pin James Franco,” Violet Paley tweeted later Sunday night. “Remember the time you pushed my head down in a car towards your exposed penis & that other time you told my friend to come to your hotel when she was 17? After you had already been caught doing that to a different 17 year old?”

Earlier in the night, Ally Sheedy, who worked with Franco on “The Long Shrift,” wrote a few tweets directed at Franco that have since been deleted, according to Fox News. (RELATED: Oprah’s Golden Globes Speech Has Hollywood’s Eyes Set On 2020)
“Why is a man hosting? Why is James Franco allowed in? Said too much,” she wrote in one tweet.
“Ok wait. Bye, Christian Slater and James Franco at a table on @goldenglobes #MeToo,” she wrote in another.
“James Franco just won. Please never ever ask me why I left the film/tv business,” she wrote after Franco’s victory.

Franco likely didn’t hear about the claims from his critics while he was out celebrating last night, but he did apologize for his actions with the 17-year-old girl Paley referred to in her tweet.
In 2014 Franco admitted to contacting the girl on social media, but claimed that he wasn’t aware of how old she was.
“I’m embarrassed, and I guess I’m just a model of, you know, how social media is tricky,” he said on “Live! With Kelly and Michael” at the time. “It’s a way people meet each other today.”
“But what I’ve learned I guess just because I’m new to it is like, you don’t know who’s on the other end. You meet somebody in person and you get a feel for them, but you don’t know who you’re talking to, and, you know? So I used bad judgment. I learned my lesson.”
