An Australian cyclist got absolutely laid out by a kangaroo that was bounding across the road, sending the animal flying through the air.
The incident was caught on video and shared Tuesday on YouTube by Cycling Weekly.
The female cyclist reportedly needed stitches to repair a knee injury after the spill.

The kangaroo seemed unfazed by the whole incident, and quickly bounded away.
At the end of the video, we can see the rider just lying there on the ground next to her bike as the roo jumps away, seemingly unfazed by the whole incident.
While we are glad to hear the injury wasn’t worse, even she would have to admit it was one hell of a hit. NFL players could take some lessons from that creature from down under. Just saying.
There might be something more sinister going on here, however, as our research uncovered another video from Bicycling Australia shared last year that showed a kangaroo jumping out of the bushes and trying take out another cyclist.
Maybe they just don’t like those spandex outfits.
