Trump-hating Rosie O’Donnell could be facing time behind bars for allegedly making illegal campaign donations.

According to the New York Post, Rosie made five illegal contributions to five different Democratic political candidates, and now she’s playing dumb, saying she was unaware of campaign finance laws.

That’s cute, but ignorance of the law is no excuse. Just ask conservative activist Dinesh D’Souza. He was indicted and charged for campaign finance violations. He spent eight months in a community confinement center and had to pay huge fines for far less.

WATCH:

O’Donnell gave almost $6,000 in contributions over the limit to her favorite candidates. Rosie claims her excessive donations made through an online platform were accidental, But if this were true, why did she feel the need to use several different addresses with variations of her name?

Does that sound like an honest mistake to you?

While I totally disagree with her politics, values and demeanor, I don’t think she’s dumb. She knew exactly what she was doing in her self-proclaimed bid to undermine President Donald J. Trump. Right now we are hearing crickets from left on Rosie’s alleged law-breaking.

The ones who dragged D’Souza’s name through the mud apparently have nothing to say about all this. From what we know, O’Donnell committed not one, not two, but five campaign finance violations. The American people are watching this case closely. Many Americans want to know if equal justice under the law still exists.
