Suspected Arizona Serial Killer Commits Suicide

A man suspected of killing four people in Scottsdale, Ariz., committed suicide at an Extended Stay America hotel on Monday morning, according to law enforcement officials.

The suspect engaged in a shootout with law enforcement before officials sent a robot into the hotel, where it was determined that he was dead, according to reports by ABC News.

Police have been investigating four fatal shootings that occurred in the span of three days. Three of them are believed to be connected, while the link to the fourth is still being determined, said Scottsdale Police Sgt. Ben Hoster at a press conference on Saturday.

The victims include a forensic psychologist, who was involved in the murder investigation of JonBenet Ramsey, two paralegals at a law firm practicing family law, and a psychologist. (RELATED: Police Search For Potential Serial Killer In Arizona)

Forensic psychologist Steven Pitt was found shot to death outside of his office on Thursday.

The next day, two paralegals at the law office of Burt, Feldman, and Gernier, 48-year-old Veleria Sharp and 49-year-old Laura Anderson were shot and killed as well.

Police responded to a call where a man was found shot dead at his office, Peak Life Solutions, on Saturday.
