The special counsel is allegedly looking into the National Enquirer to see if it may have violated any laws by buying stories from women who claimed to have had affairs with Donald Trump more than a decade ago and not printing them.

Not running a story, even if you paid for it, is not a crime. But Mueller is reportedly looking to see if anything, without any specific allegations, violated any laws. It’s very Kafkaesque.

Social media platforms are committing suicide by caving to the liberal mob. Twitter is shadow banning people deemed not liberal, and Facebook is facing pressure to de-platform sites like InfoWars and Fox News. Whatever you think of InfoWars, if people want to read their content and subscribe to it on a social media platform, they should be allowed to do so. And Fox is under fire simply because they refuse to toe the liberal line, as liberals are pushing Facebook to ban them.

But if these platforms change from a conduit where anyone can post what they want and follow what they want to a site that decides what is and is not acceptable to be posted, they switch from a platform to a publisher. Once they start making editorial decisions about what their users can post and see not only will they lose users, they open themselves up to potential libel lawsuits. If they determine what can be published, they become responsible for what is published. Things will slip past censors that defame people, revenge porn will go live, and they will be sued. There won’t be much of a defense. We explain in the show.
