Democrats want to abolish ICE in the same district in which the last-known Nazi living in the United States was arrested and put up for deportation.

The Trump administration successfully negotiated the deportation of Jakiw Palij, a death camp guard during WWII, to Germany and had him arrested from his home on Monday. Palij, 95, lied his way into the United States after the war ended and was living in Queens, New York.  (RELATED: Trump, ICE Deport Last Known Nazi In US)

Palij’s townhome is located in the Jackson Heights neighborhood in Queens. The Daily Caller was able to confirm that his residence resides in New York’s 14th congressional district and is just a short walk from Rep. Joe Crowley’s local office.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who beat out Crowley in the Democratic primary for the 14th district, is running on a platform of abolishing ICE.

Ocasio-Cortez has been caught making false claims about ICE, including the falsehood that the agency has a quota for how many beds they must fill with detainees each night.

The Republican National Committee is now questioning Ocasio-Cortez’s stance on ICE in light of the deportation of the Nazi.

“Now that ICE has literally removed a Nazi from her backyard, where does Ocasio-Cortez stand?” RNC operative Michael Ahrens asked in an email on Tuesday.

The Ocasio-Cortez campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TheDC.
