Actress and activist Alyssa Milano on Thursday night suggested that Brett Kavanaugh is lying solely based on the fact that he hasn’t threatened a defamation lawsuit against the women who have accused him of sexual misconduct.

“The other thing that I want to point out is if these women, all three of them, Julie Swetnick as well, if they were all lying, why is he not maybe threatening with a claim of defamation? Which we all know is page one from the Trump rule book,” Milano stated on CNN. “Why is he not coming out and saying, ‘you know what I’m going to sue these people for saying this, because I’m being falsely accused.'”

Milano was in attendance during Kavanaugh and Dr. Ford’s testimony last week as a guest of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s ranking member Dianne Feinstein. (RELATED: Dianne Feinstein Invites Alyssa Milano To Kavanaugh Hearing)

During an appearance on MSNBC Wednesday night she also said that, “If that means that men have a hard time right now, then I’m sorry, this is the way the pendulum has to shift for us to have the equality and security in our country and within our societal views of what it means to be a woman.” (RELATED: Alyssa Milano Says If ‘Men Have A Hard Time Right Now’ That’s The Way It Has To Be For ‘Equality’)
