A former Dallas Cowboys linebacker is reportedly set to become the first NFL player to enter into a same-sex marriage.

Former NFL star Jeff Rohrer will marry partner Joshua Ross after dating for roughly two years, according to The New York Times. The 59 year-old Rohrer spent eight seasons with the Cowboys, playing 83 games under legendary coach Tom Landry, before being released after Jerry Jones bought the team and cleaned house. Rohrer graduated from Yale, and made the All-Ivy League team following his senior season. (RELATED: Former NFL Player Arrested For Bringing Sword To Youth Basketball)
