Rice was forced out of the league following the release of a tape that showed him allegedly punching then-fiancé Janay Palmer in the face. Now-married Ray and Janay appeared for an interview with “CBS This Morning,” where the former Baltimore Ravens running back spoke about his desire to bring awareness to domestic violence, while confirming that he is done with football. “You look back and you see the similarities,” Ray said. “I know Kareem has apologized and expressed remorse for survivors of domestic violence.”
Janay also noted that she still has never seen the video of her now-husband socking her in the face.
