Fans of Colin Kaepernick had a predictable reaction to the Oakland Raiders signing Nathan Peterman.
Peterman was inked to a practice squad deal by the Raiders Wednesday. He had previously played for the Buffalo Bills before getting cut earlier this year.
Fans of the disgraced 49ers quarterback took that about as well as you’d expect. Below are some of the greatest reactions on Twitter.
Point A) Nathan Peterman has thrown 3 touchdowns to 12 interceptions and has a job in the NFL.
Point B) Colin Kaepernick has thrown 72 touchdowns to 30 interceptions and doesn’t.
Everyone who says that Kaepernick isn’t in the NFL “because he sucks” please refer to Point A.

First off, I know this is going to blow a lot of people’s minds, but comparing Kaepernick to Peterman in this situation is beyond stupid.
Peterman is eligible for the practice squad because he hasn’t played long enough in the NFL. Kaepernick clearly is not eligible. The former 49ers quarterback played several years in the NFL before he decided to start kneeling. (RELATED: Here Are The Best Moments From Week 15 Of The NFL Season)
Of course, let’s not let facts get in the way of a good story. It’d be a shade different if Peterman were on the active roster, but he’s not. Those are the facts. It doesn’t matter if you don’t like them.

As I’ve said many times before, nothing will be funnier than watching fans of Kaepernick freak out whenever a quarterback gets signed.
Kaep has now sat out two seasons. What makes anybody think he’s ready to play right now? There’s no guarantee at all that he’d be anywhere near the level where he used to play at. Let’s also not forget his play dropped off a cliff by the time he found himself out of the league.

There is no grand conspiracy. His talent simply doesn’t offset all the distraction that comes with his presence. It’s that simple.
