Ariana Grande is the proud owner of yet another tattoo, and it’s confusing a lot of her fans.

Grande, who has several tiny tattoos, got her most recent ink on the palm of her left hand. The body art is simple enough looking: it’s a couple of Japanese characters in black ink. (RELATED: Ariana Grande’s Latest Body Art Is Both Bizarre And Confusing)

For those who don’t speak Japanese, the characters are supposed to read “7 Rings,” which is an ode to her most recent hit single.

To most people, the tattoo looks pretty innocuous. But it actually reads “shichirin,” which is the Japanese term for “charcoal grill.”

Some of Grande’s Japanese followers noticed the mistake and alerted her:

Grande noticed the mistake and addressed it in a since-deleted tweet.

“Indeed, I left out ‘つの指’ which should have gone in between. It hurt like f**k n still looks tight. I wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol lmao,” she wrote.

She doesn’t seem to be sweating it.

“But this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if I miss it enough I’ll suffer thru the whole thing next time,” she continued.

Major street cred goes to Ariana for not really caring about this mistake. I hope to be this Zen someday.
