Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban thinks this will be Dirk Nowitzki’s last season playing in the NBA.

Cuban said during a Monday appearance on 105.3 The Fan that he was viewing this season as a goodbye tour, and that Dirk can do “whatever he wants” with the team in retirement.

Man, if this is the end for Dirk, it sure has been a hell of a ride. He entered the league in 1998 and has been the pillar of Dallas’ success for the past two decades. (RELATED: Anthony Davis Fined $50,000 For Public Trade Demand)

He’s been damn near unstoppable when it comes to scoring. Watching him finesse defenses has been a real pleasure.

He won an NBA championship in 2011 and has scored over 30,000 points during his historic career. The numbers are truly eye-popping, and we might not see a player with his same skill set for a very long time.

Nowitzki is an absolute legend.

I hope he sticks around with Mavs once he retires. He has a ton of knowledge to share with younger players.

Either way, it’s been a hell of a ride watching him play.
