Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo had no interest in being in “Space Jam 2” with LeBron James.

The freak of nature athlete declined a role in the movie because it would have required him to miss two weeks of private workouts, according to a recent report from ESPN.

Giannis told the network, “I don’t like being Hollywood. I don’t like all this extra drama. I am just going to try to be me.” (RELATED: LeBron James Says ‘Space Jam 2‘ Will Begin Filming In The Summer)

That quote about not wanting to be associated with the drama of Hollywood should make fans of the Bucks very happy. Giannis is one of the best players in the league. He might be the best player in the league, and he’s not addicted to attention.

He’s just trying to win the most games that he can. That’s the exact kind of player any fan wants in the locker room.

As for LeBron James’ new project, which I’m not sure anybody asked for, this is a bit embarrassing. Asking one of the best players in the league to participate in “Space Jam 2” and getting shot down isn’t an outstanding look. Not at all. I guess LeBron’s name and presence just doesn’t carry what it used to! You hate to see it!

There is almost no chance the sequel to the Michael Jordan film is any good. The original is a classic and remakes are so dumb.

I don’t see this going well at all. Giannis made a brilliant call not getting involved.
