The terrorist group ISIS is reportedly celebrating the destruction of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France that caught fire Monday.

The group referred to the fire that occurred on Holy Week as “retribution and punishment,” according to a poster obtained by The Daily Mail. The group spells out the words “Have a good day,” in big, Arabic letters. (RELATED: The Vatican Releases Statement On Notre Dame Fire)

“Its construction began in the year 1163 and ended in 1345. It’s time to say goodbye to your oratory polytheism,” the poster reportedly said.

The Daily Mail cites the Terrorism Research & Analysis Consortium in reporting the creation of the poster by the ISIS-affiliated group Al-Muntasir. (RELATED: New ISIS Targets Uncovered In Recently Obtained Documents. The European Economy Is In The Crosshairs)

The 856-year-old building was devastated in a fire Monday, although much of the artwork and many of the Sacraments were reportedly able to be salvaged. ISIS has not claimed responsibility for the attack, and arson and terror-related motives have been ruled out, according to USA Today.

A woman connected to ISIS was arrested in 2016 after allegedly plotting a terrorist attack on the cathedral. ISIS has repeatedly threatened and committed acts of violence against Catholic churches and landmarks, including the bombing of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in the Philippines in January that left 20 dead.
