The Cleveland Browns are apparently unaware of who drafted Odell Beckham Jr. when he entered the league in 2014.

ODB was drafted in the first round by the Giants, which makes a Thursday tweet from the Browns today a bit strange. (RELATED: New York Giants Trade Odell Beckham Jr. To The Cleveland Browns)

They tweeted a photo of the star receiver with the caption, “Happy Draft Day! #BrownsDraft.”

So, the Browns do realize they didn’t draft Beckham out of LSU, right? That’d be the Giants. They traded for him.

In fact, Cleveland passed on ODB at eight before New York finally took him at 12. What exactly are we supposed to be celebrating here? I’m not sure I’m following along at all.

Part of me almost respects this tweet. It’s just so bold that you almost have to laugh. Using a guy you passed on in the draft and had to trade for in order to hype up today is laugh-out-loud funny.

It’s so tone deaf that it’s almost unbelievable. Of course, it’s the Browns. We’d be more surprised if they actually managed to do something with any level of competence.

I really can’t wait to see how this all goes down this season in Cleveland. I really can’t. So much talent and so many egos on a historically awful team.

It’s the kind of content I crave. It’s the kind of content that’s going to get me my yacht, and the sooner it all goes bad, the sooner I get that boat.

Looks like we’re off to a hot start.
