As of now, no children have been charged in the “Operation Varsity Blues,” but three students have received target letters including a former Stanford student whose parents paid $6.5 billion to Rick Singer, confirmed ring leader of the admissions scam.

The letters inform the students that they are under formal scrutiny. The target letters also don’t mean the students are going to face charges. (RELATED: Report: Lori Loughlin Really Thinks She Isn’t Going To Jail For Her Alleged Involvement In The College Admissions Scandal)

Two other students were also sent letters, including Napa Valley vintner Agustin Huneeus Jr., a source told the LA Times. Huneeus has pleaded guilty to wire fraud.

Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli are accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to secure their daughters’ admission into the University of Southern California. The couple has pleaded not guilty to charges of wire fraud and money laundering.

Meanwhile, actress Felicity Huffman pleaded guilty to wire fraud. Huffman allegedly paid $15,000 to have someone take the SAT test for her daughter.
