Whoopi Goldberg revealed the reason behind her decision not to contribute to the tell-all book about “The View” on Thursday.

“I didn’t talk to the guy, I didn’t care about the book,” Goldberg told Andy Cohen on “Watch What Happens Live.” Cohen asked the talk show host why she didn’t contribute to journalist Ramin Setoodeh’s new tell-all, “Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of The View.”

“What happens for me at work is not for everybody — it’s not their business,” Goldberg said. “I don’t like talking out of school and I don’t like other people talking out of school. So, for me, you just have to leave it there. That’s for me, I don’t know about anybody else.” (RELATED: Barbara Walters Reportedly Threatened To Quit ‘The View’ If Rosie O’Donnell Re-signed)

Goldberg admitted to Cohen that she didn’t read the book either. Despite her efforts to not be a part of the tell-all, Goldberg’s fellow hosts did mention her.

Rosie O’Donnell claimed in the book that working with Goldberg was the “worst experience [she’d] ever had on television.”

“Whoopi Goldberg was as mean as anyone has ever been on television to me… Worse than Fox,” O’Donnell recalled.

When Cohen pointed out O’Donnell’s dislike for Goldberg, she responded, “That’s okay.”
