NFL legend J.J. Watt didn’t disappoint in his Saturday speech during commencement at the University of Wisconsin.

Watt was a star for the Badgers before becoming one of the most feared defensive players in the history of football for the Houston Texans. (RELATED: Will Jack Coan Or Graham Mertz Start At Quarterback For The Wisconsin Badgers?)

The talented defensive end talked about sticking to your path, helping others, overcoming bad days and recognizing you probably won’t have all the answers.

Watch a snippet of his speech below.

It truly is awesome Watt came back to give this speech for all the graduates at Wisconsin. Russell Wilson did it a couple years back and now Watt has joined the club.

Most commencement speakers suck. They’re awful, they’re boring and they don’t really have anything interesting to say.

However, bringing back people who are fixtures in the culture and history of the school is a great way to generate attention and get people to listen.

Props to Watt for giving back to the community and for giving the young people back home some great advice. Welcome to the group of Wisconsin alumni.

It’s a great group to be a part of.
