Prince Albert Raiders player Max Martin lowered the boom on Keith Getson of the Halifax Mooseheads Friday during Memorial Cup play in Canada.

Martin set the internet on fire when he jacked up Getson in insane fashion. He literally launched the Moosehead player into the boards.

To Getson’s credit, he bounced back up super quickly. Watch the unreal hockey hit below.

That’s the kind of hit people talk about for a long time. I have no idea how Getson popped up so quickly. I’d probably be in the hospital if that same hit happened to me. (RELATED: San Jose Sharks Beat The St. Louis Blues On Awful Hand Pass No-Call In Overtime)

I’d probably just die right on the spot. There’s zero chance I’d just get back up like it was no big deal at all.

It’s hits like the one from Martin that remind everybody that hockey is a man’s game. There are no weak people on the ice. There are only men cut from the roughest of clothes out there laying people out for the hell of it.

You damn well better keep your head on a swivel, especially when playing at a high level like Canadian juniors.

Huge shoutout to Martin for lowering the boom in epic fashion and equal props to Getson for not staying down.

It was an all-around awesome sequence of events.
