The Chicago Bulls may be looking at potentially trading for Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball.

According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, the young Lakers star “intrigues the Bulls as a pass-first, defensive-minded point guard with positional size who can best maximize the talents of Lauri Markkanen, Zach LaVine and Wendell Carter Jr.

I really hope this doesn’t happen. There’s just too much great drama with the Lakers, Lonzo, LeBron and the rest of the circus that’s consumed Los Angeles.

I want the oldest Ball brother around for every second of the action. Feed it to me, because we all know his dad, LaVar, is at his best on the biggest stage possible. (RELATED: Magic Johnson Steps Down As The President Of Basketball Operations For The Lakers)

There’s arguably no bigger market or stage than Los Angeles. That much is for sure. Chicago is a big market, but it’s not LA.

Also, LaVar will likely only get more vocal as the Lakers continue their downward spiral into absolute chaos.

This past season was downright absurd with how fast the wheels fell off. It was incredible watching one of the most storied franchises in all of sports just turn into a dumpster fire, and I don’t want Lonzo to stop being part of the action.

Will the Los Angeles trade Lonzo? Maybe. I honestly have no idea, but I really hope not. The Lakers falling apart is great for business and LaVar and Lonzo are a huge part of the entertainment.

Let’s all hope he stays in a Lakers uniform for a long time to come.
