Actor Johnny Depp claimed ex-wife Amber Heard faked her bruises so that the actress could fabricate claims of domestic abuse.

Depp claims Heard faked the abuse claims and that he’s the real victim of domestic abuse in new court filings, according to a report published Tuesday by Page Six.

Depp alleges that Heard’s claims that he abused her are “categorically and demonstrably false.” He’s now claiming the bruises — which resulted in Heard being granted a restraining order against him — were painted on by Heard. “I have denied Ms. Heard’s allegations vehemently since she first made them in May 2016, when she walked into court to obtain a temporary restraining order with painted-on bruises that witnesses and surveillance footage show she did not possess each day of the preceding week,” Depp wrote in court papers.

“I will continue to deny them for the rest of my life. I never abused Ms. Heard or any other woman,” he added.

This court filing comes after Depp sued Heard for $50 million in a defamation lawsuit last year. In the lawsuit, he claimed Heard had lied in the op-ed she penned for the Washington Post that detailed her experience with abuse. However, Heard never named her abuser in the piece.
