Conor McGregor sounds like he’s ready for a rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Nurmagomedov defeated McGregor at UFC 229, and the fight ended in absolute chaos when the Russian-born star hopped out of the octagon. (SLIDESHOW: These UFC Women Really Hate Wearing Clothes)

However, it sounds like the Irish-born star isn’t going to let his feud with Nurmagomedov anytime soon. At the very least, he’s putting the blame on the other side if a rematch never happens. (SLIDESHOW: These Are The Greatest Ronda Rousey Photos On The Internet)

McGregor said the following during a recent appearance on Tony Robbins’ podcast, according to ESPN:

At the end of the day, I landed the final blow of the night, right on his brother’s eye socket. Although the match didn’t go my way, the fight went my way. And trust me when I tell you, Tony, this war is not over. If this fight does not happen again, if it does not get reset, it’s on them. They’re running away. I’m here for the fight and here for the rematch.

Let’s all be honest with ourselves here. The UFC is a money making machine, and McGregor vs. Nurmagomedov again would be an ATM for the machine. It would print money. (SLIDESHOW: These Are The Sexiest Paige VanZant Photos On The Internet)

You know who loves money? Conor McGregor. I don’t care that he claims he’s retired. We all know he’ll be back in the octagon in a heartbeat for the correct payday.

He’s jump back in the octagon in a heartbeat if Dana White put enough cash on the table. Now, McGregor is already very rich, which means we’re talking mega-cash here for another fight.

Fans would show up and show out for a second fight given what happened the first time around.

I always thought a rematch was imminent, and I’m now more convinced than ever. McGregor can claim he’s retired all he wants, but we all know how quickly things can change in the UFC.

You’re a fool if you think he’s done fighting forever.
