It truly sounds like all hell is going to break loose in “Yellowstone” season two.

Neal McDonough is one of the new cast members for season 2, and his character Malcolm Beck sounds like he’s going to be causing all sorts of problems for John Dutton (Kevin Costner) and his family. (RELATED: ‘Yellowstone‘ Season 2 Trailer Gets Released, Promises Lots Of Intense Action)

McDonough said the following during an interview released Monday by Screen Rant:

Malcolm Beck was based on some true life brothers, and they owned hundreds of gas station casinos all across Montana. The great thing about Malcolm, although he’s a casino owner and a bit of a gangster, he has this real code of ethics that things are supposed to be done in a certain way and if they’re not, then things have to be done in a certain way. And, that’s what makes it really interesting for my character because something that could be really nasty and horrible going on, he could think, well that’s just normal. Then, something else might really set him off. When we start to the season off and I go nose-to-nose with Kevin and say, ‘hey, look, this is the way we’re going to do it. Come onboard with us and everything is going to be just fine.’ And then he decides not to and Rainwater decides to go a different way and everything just starts to implode in front of me and it gets very emotional very fast.

You can watch the full interview below.

I honestly can’t wait to find out what Malcolm Beck is all about. He’s not in the previews a ton, but it’s clear he’s going to be the main villain this season.

McDonough is insanely menacing as an actor, and I have no doubt he’s going to be a terrifying gangster of a Montana businessman. (RELATED: Luke Grimes Says Kayce Will ‘Face The Demons’ In Season 2 Of ‘Yellowstone‘)

His comments also makes me think my prediction of Rainwater and John joining forces is more likely to become correct. There’s no chance Rainwater is going to the like the presence of a “gangster” who owns gas station casinos.

That’s just not going to happen. As they say, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. It sounds like Beck is going to be trying to fight the Duttons and Rainwater.

Does that mean they’ve have to team up in a USA/Soviet style alliance to beat the immediate enemy in front of them? I’m not ruling it out. In fact, I’m pretty much counting on it at this point.

Tune in June 19 on the Paramount Network to watch the start of season 2. It should be absolutely electric, and I can’t wait to see what John Dutton does to protect his ranch at all costs.
