The Fourth of July is set to bring fireworks, a presidential address, and plenty of red, white and blue to Washington, D.C., and the American flag will surely be on full display across the city.
Locals and tourists told the Daily Caller News Foundation what the flag means to them.
“Freedom for all those who have fallen for us, so that we might be here,” one man wearing a Trump hat said. (RELATED: Here’s What DC Had To Tell President Trump On His Birthday)
“It means freedom for all Americans,” another passerby said.
