Supermodel Karlie Kloss said being connected to President Donald Trump’s administration through marriage has been difficult.
“It’s been hard,” the former 26-year-old Victoria’s Secret model told British Vogue in an August cover story, per People magazine in a piece published on Tuesday.
The comments came when Kloss was asked about her connection to the Trump family after she and Joshua Kushner, brother to White House advisor Jared Kushner and brother-in-law to Ivanka Trump, tied the knot last October in an intimate ceremony. (RELATED: Karlie Kloss And Josh Kushner Are Engaged)

“I choose to focus on the values that I share with my husband,” Kloss added. “And those are the same liberal values that I was raised with and that have guided me throughout my life.”
Her husband Joshua, a businessman and investor, said similar during his interview for Forbes magazine in 2017.

The supermodel previously shared that in 2016 she voted for Hillary Clinton and Josh didn’t vote for Trump, according to Esquire magazine.
The first daughter has made it clear she’s definitely happy about her sister-in-law when she commented on Kloss’ post on Instagram last summer after news first surfaced that the lingerie model and Joshua were engaged.
“So, so happy for you and Josh! I feel blessed to have you as a sister (!!!) Karlie and look forward to the decades of happy memories we will create together as a family,” Ivanka wrote.
