Here’s What A Military Rescue Mission Should Look Like If It’s Necessary To Save A$AP Rocky

It appears diplomacy has failed to save A$AP Rocky, and now it’s time for America to prepare for a potential rescue mission.

The star rapper has been in custody in Sweden since early July after he tried to defuse a situation with a couple guys that ultimately turned violent.

His arrest was garbage, Sweden doesn’t want to play ball and they chose to keep him imprisoned Friday instead of cutting him loose.

Even the fact Sweden clearly has no intentions of freeing A$AP Rocky, it’s now time to consider military options.

An all-out war with Sweden isn’t necessary or realistic. However, a limited military operation to rescue him from Swedish custody is not just realistic, but should be absolutely considered.

Luckily, we have a perfect template to use for such an operation. During the invasion of Panama, Delta Force operators were sent in on helicopters to rescue an American being held in prison.

The highly-skilled operators took the prison by force and everybody made it out alive. The Panamanian forces knew it was coming, and it still didn’t matter.

Now, the most realistic option to save Rocky would also involve inserting military assets via helicopters. This provides a challenge in the case of Sweden because we don’t have any military bases in range of Black Hawk helicopters, which would most certainly be what was used for the insertion.

Luckily, America has big and beautiful aircraft carriers that could move into the Baltic Sea, and that would be well within range of the Black Hawks.

From there, the risk escalates. Hopefully, the simple presence of an aircraft carrier off of the coast of Sweden would free Rocky.

If not, here’s how I would recommend the rescue mission go, and it’s a page straight out of the Osama Bin Laden raid.

Two stealth Black Hawk helicopters loaded up with 10 Delta Force operators each depart from the aircraft carrier under the cover of darkness and approach the prison.

The first helicopter deploys its troops to the roof as the other helicopter sends the people to the ground to secure the floor levels.

I would expect there to be damn near zero resistance. The guards would have no idea this was coming, and would likely surrender immediately.

Once the operators have Rocky, they go back to the roof and depart on the two helicopters for the aircraft carriers.

The reality of the situation is the Swedes would do nothing, but jets should be kept ready on deck to escort the helicopters back if necessary.

There’s no chance Sweden is going to try to shoot down American aircraft. No way in hell. Rocky would be home safe and the message would be sent that America isn’t going to let our citizens get kidnapped.

Let’s hope it doesn’t come to this, but if it does, we will be prepared and ready.
