Kelly was charged with engaging in prostitution with a minor and with offering to hire for sexual purposes with a minor.
Freeman claimed the event in question occurred in July 2001. The victim was allegedly older than 16 but younger than 18 at the time of the encounter. (RELATED: R. Kelly Indicted On Racketeering And Sexual Exploitation Of Children)
The victim asked for an autograph from Kelly when he gave her his phone number. She called him and he allegedly told her he’d pay her $200 if she got naked and danced for him.
She accepted the money and danced naked with Kelly. While the two were dancing, sexual contact reportedly happened. Afterwards, Kelly gave the girl two VIP tickets to his concert in Minneapolis.
