Wisconsin Badgers safety Reggie Pearson made an incredible snag during a recent practice.

In a video posted Monday morning on Twitter, Pearson turned himself around, elevated and made a really impressive interception off of a Chase Wolf pass.

The team tweeted, “That man @reggiepearson21 and the defense are up to something this fall…” Give the video a watch below. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

What a damn good interception. If that’s the kind of energy we’re bringing into the season on the defensive side of the ball, then Big 10 offenses should start getting nervous.

That snap from Pearson was an elite level play, and there’s no other way to put it. He perfectly timed it and showed off some serious athleticism.

Pearson is a redshirt freshman after only playing in four games last season, but he shouldn’t struggle to get on the field much this year if he is pulling off plays like the one above.

I’m honestly so excited for opener against USF in 11 days. It’s time to cleanse the disaster that was the 2018 season for the Badgers.

When we take the field against the Bulls on Aug. 30th, I’ll be in Vegas several beers deep ready to roll as Paul Chryst and the squad battle it out on the field. It can’t get here soon enough.

Play the music!
