Cameras are expected to start rolling on “Westworld” season four before the third one even gets released.

According to DicussingFilm.net, HBO has signed off on a fourth season and filming will begin before 2019 is over. The third season is slated to be released in 2020 and DiscussingFilm.net reported we’ll get season four in 2021. (RELATED: The Trailer For ‘Westworld‘ Season 3 Has Been Released. So, it looks like we won’t be forced to endure another huge gap between seasons.

I’m a huge fan of “Westworld,” and I have been ever since the first episode aired. I was hooked instantly. I thought it was one of the coolest shows I’d ever seen.

However, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t greatly annoyed by the fact we had to wait so long for new episodes. For whatever reason, HBO just doesn’t mind taking its sweet time.

It’s ultimately worth it if the quality is great, but it’s still a bit of a tough pill to swallow. Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody, likes waiting forever to get new episodes.

We waited well over a year between seasons one and two. That can’t happen again.

Luckily, it sounds like it won’t be an issue. If we get season three in 2020 and season four in 2021, then I think fans everywhere can live with that.

It’s still a long ways off, but it’s better than the alternative. Let’s just hope the new seasons continue to be as great as the first two because they’ve both been great.
