The insight comes in a new ‘autobiography’ – a coffee table book laden with photographs of Miss Hall’s colourful life.
It is being published as she prepares auction a collection of paintings, including a nude portrait painted by Lucian Freud when she was eight months pregnant.
She says she has written the book and is getting rid of the paintings as her way of ‘letting go of the past’.
