It’s time to re-watch “Kingsman: The Secret Service.” And if you haven’t yet seen 2014’s surprise spy hit starring Colin Firth, it is high time to reconsider that curious decision.

The hilarious spook flick was based on a largely unknown comic called “The Secret Service,” and even those skeptical about the growing number of comic book movies left the theater laughing hysterically at “Kingsman,” which owes a great deal of its style to the older, goofier James Bond movies.

Friday, Taron Egerton, who plays the protagonist Eggsy Unwin in the series, excited fans by tweeting a cryptic image about the upcoming sequel, “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” to be released in 2017:

If you saw the first Kingsman movie, you recognize those glasses and have a sense at what this first poster for “The Golden Circle” is hinting at. More than anything, you surely want to see it again to regale in its very British sense of fun.

If for some reason you still have not seen “Kingsman: The Secret Service,” watch it now, so you can participate in water cooler speculation sure to result from Egerton’s tweet.
