Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather has every intention of sizing up UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov in the ring.

There has been much speculation if these two would trade blows after the Russian-born fighter called out Mayweather. Apparently, the boxing star is ready to give it a shot for another massive payday.

“Oh, we fighting! I’m my own boss. So, I can’t say what’s going on on Khabib’s end. But, on my end, we can make it happen,” Mayweather told TMZ sports.

In all seriousness, I’m not a huge fan of this plan, and I really hope it doesn’t become the trend where UFC stars get destroyed in boxing rings. We saw this already with Mayweather and McGregor, who lost to Nurmagomedov at UFC 229. (RELATED: Conor McGregors Return To The UFC Was An Absolute Circus. Check Out The Crazy Videos)

Was the McGregor/Mayweather boxing match fun? Of course it was. I had a blast with all the hype, all the beers during the fight and getting to see a little crossover action. However, it was clear Mayweather has nobody in the UFC that can touch him when it comes to boxing.

He handled McGregor, and he would absolutely handle Khabib. Let me say that again. Floyd Mayweather would embarrass Khabib and any other UFC fighter in the ring. Sure, everybody gets a big payday, it becomes a huge media spectacle, but Floyd wouldn’t even get challenged. (RELATED: Conor McGregor Put On A Show At The Cowboys Game. Would I like to see it happen? Sure, but it’s not going to be overly entertaining. It’s just a money grab.
