Paula Abdul took a scary fall in the middle of her concert this weekend in Mississippi.
The former “American Idol” host and Grammy Award-winning singer took a head-first spill during her “Straight Up Paula! 2018” tour in Biloxi, MS Saturday. (RELATED: People Can’t Stop Talking About Selena Gomez’s Bizarre New Music Video)
The incident took place on Saturday night in the middle of her hit song “The Promise of a New Day.” The performance involved various moving parts onstage and featured no barrier between the stage and the seemingly steep drop to the crowd. Video taken from an onlooking fan shows the singer moving toward the crowd when she suddenly loses her balance and plummets head-first off the stage, as a shocked audience looks on in horror.

Abdul, 56, appears to be relatively uninjured and her next show, scheduled for Tuesday in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is still on.

TMZ reports that Abdul — an experienced choreographer — did not suffer any serious injuries, and her show is still on.
