We’ve signed QB Matt Barkley and re-signed P Colton Schmidt. #GoBills

This is cool for Barkley, but it’s not cool for the rest of us. As I noted earlier today, I was really hoping Terrell Pryor would be getting some QB reps. That’s what the world needs. We need Pryor slinging the rock. We don’t need Barkley. No offense to him, obviously. (RELATED: Buffalo Bills Might Have Finally Solved Their Disastrous Quarterback Situation)

I’m really not even sure how much help Barkley is going to be for the Bills because they need more than just one savior. He was a star for the Trojans, but his NFL career has not panned out the way many expected. Not even close.

He came into the league with expectations as high as the sun, and he never even got close to fulfilling them.

In the end, some dreams just aren’t meant to be. I’m happy Barkley is going to get some cash. Good for him, but I was really hoping Pryor would start gunning footballs like it was the fall of 2010.
