Alabama’s big win over Georgia in the SEC title game Saturday night put up monster numbers on TV.

According to CBS Sports PR, it was the most watched regular season college football game in seven years, and roughly 10 percent of households with televisions tuned in.

I’m not surprised at all the ratings were so high. It was without a doubt the game of conference championship week, and it didn’t disappoint at all. Early on, it looked like Georgia was going to steamroll Alabama and a banged up Tua Tagovailoa. (RELATED: Georgia Loses To Alabama After One Of The Dumbest Play Calls In Football History)

However, Jalen Hurts and the Tide roared back in the final minute of the game to secure a 35-28 win.

It was an absolutely chilling game to watch, especially Hurts coming in to lead his team to glory. After being relegated to the bench, the big time quarterback waited for his chance, and he seized the moment.

I might hate the SEC as much as anybody, but even I can admit the the conference’s title game was awesome. It’s great to see that so many people tuned in and enjoyed the show with me.
