Tennessee still has the top spot of the AP college basketball poll locked down.

The top 10 of the latest poll, which was released Monday, are as follows:

  1. Tennessee
  2. Duke
  3. Virginia
  4. Gonzaga
  5. Kentucky
  6. Nevada
  7. Michigan
  8. North Carolina
  9. Michigan State
  10. Marquette

Tennessee just continues to hold off Duke from getting that top spot. It’s kind of wild that the Volunteers, after so many years of seemingly being irrelevant, are now the top team in America.

Rick Barnes has his guys rolling in Knoxville. There’s no question at all.

As for Duke, the Blue Devils are still just obliterating pretty much everybody dumb enough to get in their way.

I say that as a guy who hates Duke. They stole a ring right off my finger! Still, Zion Williamson and the rest of the squad are incredibly impressive. (RELATED: Duke Basketball Star Zion Williamson Throws Down 360 Dunk Against Clemson)

It’s good to see the Badgers slowly climbing back toward the top. They’re 19 in the latest poll. Is that where I’d put them?

I’d like to see them around that 12-15 mark, but as I’ve said a million times before, I don’t mind being doubted.

Let people overlook us. It’ll only be that much sweeter when we knock them all down.

Check back next week to see how much movement we get after another great week of basketball.
