UFC star Paige VanZant might be returning to the octagon sooner than anticipated.

The flyweight fighter recently fractured her arm again, and it resulted in the pause button being smashed on her return to the octagon. (SLIDESHOW: These UFC Women Really Hate Wearing Clothes)

However, she might not be out long. VanZant said the following in an Instagram live story, according to a Wednesday report from MMA Junkie:

So, it’s just a fracture right at the site of my screw. My arm is crazy swollen still, so we’re just waiting for the swelling to go down. We’re going to x-ray it in a month, and I think I will be good to go. What that means is I have to take a month off from contact. After that month is over I can sign a fight contract and get right into a fight camp.

I really hope she does return soon. As I’ve said many times, the UFC is much better off when she’s out there cracking skulls. That’s just a fact. (SLIDESHOW: These Are The Greatest Ronda Rousey Photos On The Internet)

Yet, she has routinely struggled to stay healthy, which isn’t ever a good thing. Imagine where she could be if she wasn’t struggling with an arm injury for more than a year. (SLIDESHOW: These Are The Sexiest Paige VanZant Photos On The Internet)

She’s still grinding it out after beating Rachael Ostovich, but we need her back ASAP.

Hopefully, we’re sitting here in a month and she’s ready to roll. If that happens, the whole world of UFC is in front of her.

Let’s get after it. The whole world is behind her.
