TV personality Jenna Bush Hager shared a tribute Sunday to her grandfather George H.W. Bush on the one-year anniversary of the former president’s death.

Bush Hager posted a series of photos on Instagram including throwback shots of her as a young child with H.W. Bush.

“One year yesterday, we lost our Gamps,” she captioned the post. “He is gone but he left behind a family that loves each other— we talked yesterday about how much we love him and each other.”

The 41st President died on Nov. 30, 2018 after battling Parkinson’s disease. He was 94 years old at the time.

“He showed us that serving with humility is the best way to serve and that living with kindness and generosity of spirit is the best way to live,” Bush Hager continued. “We miss you Gampy, but as Mila said yesterday: don’t worry mama, he’s celebrating in heaven with Ganny.” (RELATED: Here Were George H.W.
