Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray’s agent thinks he should win a major award.

The young dual-threat quarterback has put up more than 4,000 yards of total offense this season, and his agent Erik Burkhardt thinks he should be the NFL offensive rookie of the year.

Remember when people honestly thought Kyler Murray didn’t have what it would take to play quarterback in the NFL?

I remember that well. Prior to the 2019 draft, I heard every single excuse in the book for why he wouldn’t cut it.

He was too short, didn’t have the arm, wasn’t traditional and everything else you could think of. Yet, when it came time to play, he just got the job done.

There were certainly some growing pains, but there’s no doubt at all that Murray is more than good enough to play in the NFL. His agent should 100% be pushing for him to win this award. Murray has done more than enough to earn it.

What we saw this season with the Cardinals was only the beginning. As Murray grows and gets more experience, he’ll only improve.

I’m glad to see him have such a strong year. He’s a ton of fun to watch, and Burkhardt is correct when he says he should be the offensive RoY.

Sound off in the comments with who you think should win.
