Los Angeles Chargers star Melvin Gordon thinks quarterback Philip Rivers will join the Indianapolis Colts.
Rivers and the Chargers went their separate ways after this past season, and the legendary gunslinger will now look at new options. The former Wisconsin star thinks he knows how the story will end. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

While saying he didn’t have any inside information, Gordon told CBS Sports, “I think he goes to the Colts. I don’t know, that’s just my thought.”
The Colts certainly wouldn’t be a bad option, but they’re not exactly desperate for a quarterback. While Jacoby Brissett isn’t going to the hall of fame, he was more than serviceable last season.

If the Colts are looking at options, then Rivers would most certainly be in play. They could also sign Rivers and draft a player to develop for a year or two.
Rivers already said he’ll only play two more seasons at most. That means wherever he ends up, it won’t be for long at all.

Will it ultimately be the Colts? Gordon might think so, but I’m not sold just yet.
