Musician Katy Perry confirmed she’s expecting her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom.
The announcement came after Perry released the music video for her single “Never Worn White” on Wednesday night.
“There’s a lot that will be happening this summer; not only will I be giving birth — literally — but also figuratively to something you guys have been waiting for,” Perry told fans during her Instagram live.
“Omg so glad I don’t have to suck it in anymore,” Perry later shared on Twitter.

“Or carry around a big purse lol,” she added.
Fans began speculating about Perry’s pregnancy after she released a teaser for the music video in which she was cradling her baby bump.

I’m so happy for Perry and Bloom. They’ve been engaged for a year and we’re coming close to wedding time. There haven’t been many details about the moment released to the media, but the newest rumor is that the wedding will be held in Japan.
A cherry blossom wedding in Japan would be such a Katy Perry thing. I adore the idea for her. We’ll see what happens, but I expect it to be one of the most beautiful weddings of all time.
