The future NFL draft pick announced Wednesday afternoon that he’s opting back into the season to play another year with the Gophers. You can watch the announcement video below.

This is huge news for P.J. Fleck and fans of the Gophers. Bateman is one of the best players in all of America, and it was a huge blow when he opted out.

It was a gigantic hit to Minnesota’s chances to make a deep run.

Well, he’s back now, and you have to imagine Fleck is off somewhere popping bottles of champagne to celebrate.

Tanner Morgan’s greatest weapon is returning to the field.

Of course, this will just make it all the sweeter when Wisconsin beats the living hell out of Minnesota as always! Bateman or not, the result of the game isn’t changing!
