The Carolina Hurricanes had a packed house Monday night against the Nashville Predators.

The opening round playoff game between the Preds and Hurricanes was played at PNC stadium, and a video from Sara Civ might be enough to bring a tear to your eye. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

Prior to the puck being dropped, it didn’t look like there was an empty seat in the house as fans were going crazy. Give it a watch below.

Damn, that video just hits differently. After the past 14+ months of the war against coronavirus, we’re finally starting to get back to normal.

Part of getting back to normal is packing our sports stadiums again.

Stadiums sat empty for most of 2020 and the early part of 2021. Now, they’re finally opening up again, and it’s about damn time.

I’d be lying if I said the Hurricanes having a full house with thousands of fans didn’t make me smile. It’s been a long time coming.

Now, we have to do the same once college football gets here. I can’t wait to see stadiums all over the country full again. The war is nearing an end, folks! Get ready to get back to normal.
