USC quarterback Kedon Slovis is reportedly transferring.

According to Pete Thamel, the talented passer has entered the transfer portal with Lincoln Riley taking over the Trojans. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The transfer portal has been out of control this year, and you can now officially add another name to the list.

At this point, we just kind of have to accept that we have free agency in college sports. It is what it is, as the youth say.

In 27 games with the Trojans, Slovis has thrown 58 touchdowns to 24 interceptions, and he did a lot of his work in a very unstable environment.

So, there’s no question he can play. That’s obvious to anyone who watched him play, but it’s also fair to say he didn’t come close to meeting expectations in 2021.

Now, he’s out the door and will look elsewhere to continue his college career, and Lincoln Riley will have to find a different answer at quarterback.

The transfer market is hot, and Slovis’ addition only makes it hotter.
